Meeting Friday for Alumni, Community Band

“It’s time to take out the old horn and come join us,” says Hilbert Bernal, the driving force behind the Benson Bobcat Alumni and Community Band.

“Let’s get together and have some fun,” adds Bernal, referring to the upcoming July 4 band performances. A first organizational meeting will be held on Friday [June 16] at p.m. in the Benson High School band room.

Class of 2017 reminded ‘to be happy now’

The impending exuberance in orchestrated and anticipated crescendo did not disappoint as Benson High School’s Class of 2017 rejoiced in their graduation accomplishment Friday night.

Nearly 100 students received diplomas on the football field at the Jerry P. Lee Athletics Complex at Benson High School.
